I was wondering if there was a setup that got mario tennis to work correctly....
Right now im using
Jabo's Direct3D7 1.40 - alot of graphics problems
Jabo's DirectSound 1.40 - sounds fine usually
Jabo's DirectInput 1.40 - Input is fine

Rice's latest GPU plugin does a great job with Mario Tennis.. I've only used the DX Pixel Shader combiner, so I don't know how it'll run with anything else.. if your card supports PS, you should be fine. ;)

Mario Tennis:use Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5 plug-in,
go to advanced tab, enable force normal blending
and force depth compare and that should fix your problem
Thanks, yours work best.
cooliscool, i only get like 10fps (2fps in videos) with that plugin on my crappy intel card :(

OpenGL mode works better in Mario Tennis than DirectX....seems to be alot less pauses, but it doesn't render the special sprites (doesn't matter really, they're surrounded by black boxes anyways)
