(please forgive me if this is my second post on the subject)
I need to get DOS (the non-windows dos) to recognize 2 hard drives so I can transfer files. One hard drive works under dos but not windows, and there is too much stuff on it to format it. Thank you for your time.

2 hard drives should not be any problem under DOS.....as long as you slave the drives correctly and use FAT partitions.

My only question is "what kind of DOS"??? Like off of a Windows 98 bootup floppy......or pure DOS, aka. DOS 6.5 or whatever

i believe its the pure dos because he refers to it as the non-windows version. It should work, but i havent had to much time with dos to know.

*wah* my old one's FAT32 but the other one's NTSC. I think my dad has a extra drive (that I can format if it's not a FAT system) so that should work then. Thanks!
