Emulator works perfectly, but whenever I'm in fullscreen I can't get the white menu bar at the top to go away (as seen below). Is there a way to fix this?

I'm aware that pressing f12 again is supposed to remove the bar, however at any resolution that looks correct, pressing f12 again causes the screen to do this:

Menu bar shows when in fullscreen on linux mint

I use linux mint as my main desktop and with wine I can play xebra on linux and it runs great but one problem though, everytime I tried going fullscreen the menu bar still shows up i tried f12 it doesn't work and neither does esc. any help?
