Hi. I just installed ePSXe and, though it may seem a bit strange, it's running games too quickly. Is there anything I can do to fix that? I would really like to get on to playing final fantasy (which is really the only reason I installed this thing in the first place) and it just feels like there's something missing when my computer flies through the first cut scene in about ten seconds. Albeit, it does make everything a bit more comical.

I'm running vista with a 2.5 GHz pentium duel core processor and 6 gigs of ram.

The video setting on my ePSX is set to P.E.Op.S 1.17

any assistance at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

that would be why its too fast.

use Eternal SPU and Enable Automatic Frame limit in the gpu plugin.

ok, if thats not working to your satisfaction, then disable the frame limiter in the gpu plugin and in the Eternal SPU plugin, set the audio out method to SPU:Async, with the setting of Wait.

this is basically the same as Audio sunching.

actually I just used the ratio of sixty seconds compared to the time elapsed in the game and adjusted the limiting frame rate accordingly. Thank you though. Do you think you could also help me with another problem? You see, I DLed a few games but I don't know exactly how to convert the .sub, .ccd, and .img, files to one big iso file. Could you possibly point me in the right direction for solving this problem?

im not going to hold this post against him this time since it was made before i locked the other thread.

but realfigments, i dont want to see anymore questions about how to get your pirated copy working from here on, once you have been warned about it you are expected to either seek that sort of assistance out elsewhere and/or not bring the topic up again.
