I have a problem while configuring my gravis gamepad pro in ePSXe. ePSXe will only read the right and down buttons, nothing else. Anybody have any ideas on how to solve this problem

Try putting the "digital/analog" setting in the ePSXe controller configuration.

Just tried, and no change, still won't work, still only reads right and down buttons. Thanks for trying though.

that almost sounds like it only reads X-axis and Y-axis...are you sure youre inputting it the right way?

That might be the case, but it also doesn't read any of the other buttons, so I can't set triangle, circle, square, etc... buttons, and in another emulator (AdriPSX) it works fine.

weird...you know you have to click first (with the mouse) and then assign the button? Because that can be a bit confusing at first...

Yeah, I know I can change the buttons to any key I want on the keyboard, it just would read the gamepad properly

you could use a key-mapping program...
something like vgsjoy. works on epsxe too I bet.

Good idea, the only problem that vgsjoy program only works on win95 and win98, I got win2k. Do you know any other key mapping programs that run under win2k?

Most likely your problem is with win 2k.
My solution, format HDD put on Win 98 SE.
Real solution... no clue, sorry .
Maybe waiting for the next version of ePSXe or trying to change you gamepad drivers.

I hate to say this but I have the same controlpad but before I upgraded my soundcard to a creative soundblaster live 1024 player my gamepad was a 100% perfect and I know for a fact the gamepad drivers are not compatble with soundblaster live cards so my advise ged a new gamepad I sugest a saitek p2000 because it is anlog digital and has tilt.
