Funny black squares w/ Pete's OGL

I just started getting these weird black squares on background textures. I didn't change any settings or anything - I just upgraded from 1.52 to 1.53, and all of a sudden this starts happening. Switching back to 1.52 doesn't do anything. I've tried messing around with almost all the settings, to no avail. The weird thing, tho, is that enabling "FPS Display on Startup" fixes the problem... Any suggestions?

I have the same problem when i was using v21.83 with 32bit color. I fixed the problems after i changed it to v21.85 with 16bit color.
Both also with 4x4 FSAA turn on.

hmm. but i am not sure whether it was the color depth or the driver cause the problems.

As for the elsa drivers, I'm going to ditch them in favour of the 21.88s as I'm getting problems in Drakan. =( Everything else has been running peachy though.

too bad, i have an Elsa card too.

Btw, howdo u use elsaMoviw2000? I tried to install it,but it says i am not authorized to use the software....
