Here is a list of functions that I would like in new versions of ePSXe.

  • Savestate browser - Something to look on the save pics with, that showes game info, and the ability to remove states. I have about 80MB of savestates and I know that I don't need all of 'em. It's just that I don't know which files to remove. I have tried to open the .pic files to see where they are from, but none of the apps I have tried with could open em.
  • Statepicker - choose state with 1,2,3 -> etc. instead of pushing F2 to rotate.
  • An option to save the settings - so annoying to restart it all the time.
  • Open another ISO or CD without restarting the program.
  • FMV support in MMX4 and MMX5 (gah! I played through them without seeing one FMV!!! I want to see them. *almost crying* )

So these are the functions I would like to see in this great emulator.

PsxMC and PSmplay are good programs that can play FMVs directly from the cd. If you're using an ISO, use Daemon Tools and then one of the above programs. Get them and a bunch of other ones at NGemu PSX movie player section
