There were a lot of links on the former front page system to other affiliated sites, project sites, and many other useful links which have conveniently disappeared from the front page with the implementation of the new system.

Also it seems that no news is posted to the front page on the new system, where it was before with the old system.

The new front page has been there for a while now, when are these things finally going to be added back or reimplemented?

We definitely need newsposters. This has been an NGEmu issue for several years now, too few people have these permissions. From what I know only admins are able to do so, meaning that at this moment only Chrono, Kirby and Prafull are able to do so, since they are the only active people from that class.

Smods have the power to add news also. (Has been like that for a while)
I have to admit I lost motivation in posting stuff on the frontpage... If poeple would like to step up and help out, let me know.

Not to be nagging on, but i just wish someone could bring back the "five latest posted in threads" or something similar, that atleast worked well as a quick curiosity-poker most of the times. The new frontpage needs to have some work, because it makes the forum feel dead almost.

The new frontpage It feels like a new boss, recently arrived from a totally different branch of the company, lacking the genuine interest in the ngemu branch and what it means to a lot of people and content with just getting it through yet another day.

Oh, but let's try to keep that positive attitude anyways, people are still here atleast
