I have got FM3 to run good in epsxe, with the fps calculation and the accurate cd timing..but I still have a problem
The sound either runs really fast or really slow..and sounds bad. I have tried multiple sound plugins such as petes, null's, epsxe builtin...they all do the same thing. anyone know how to fix this?

Use the new option of Petes sound plugin , worked for me !And get the latest driveres of your sound card it helps a bit ! (it did the trick for me )

Im having this problem now so im interested in hearing what you did to solve it. Music is REALLY slow but sound seems to be acceptable.

Yeah, the music is slow untill you turn on calculate fps, then that fixes the slow fps..but makes the music way to fast.

Front mission 3 is bug with ePSXe version 2.0.5.
You must to download ePSXe 2.0.2-1 (old version). to play

You know what's else is easy? Reading the posts date, FYI it's from 2001 thus why it's in the archives, you're over two decades late.
His issue were simply due to ePSXe being young and very much wip, I think ePSXe 1.2 was the newest then.
Plus a better recommendation would be to switch to Duckstation a far modern and better ps1 emulator.
