Hi guys.

I need a program to split/join ASF videos and with a few transition effects such as Fade In/Out, just like Windows Movie Maker. It HAS to be free since it's for my job.

You can use AVISynth (preferably version 2.5.7) in conjunction with AVSP to help simplify the process of creating a custom video processing script. The resulting .avs file can be opened up in just about any video editing software as an .avi file.

If you want, I can even create a script for your editing purposes. You'll need AVISynth installed on the system that you want to process the video on.
