FMVs won't play all of a sudden...

For some reason, ePSXe has stopped playing FMVs for me... the screen either goes black, or had some colors on it all scrammbled. when i first got the EMU, tehy played fine, but now they don't work. i've tried a lot of different plugins and junk, nothing helps... anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Athlon 1GHZ
448 MB RAM
Voodoo5 PCI
Windows ME

Have you acciently switched off MDECS?

yep, i'm stupid.... switched MDECS back on and it works fine. thanks for the help :)
