Depends on the game!
try setting Off-screen drawing to Standard!
And I take it, it doesn't happen if you use his Soft plugin?

I've had flickering screens in Vagrant Story before. I have a Geforce2 MX card and in the OPenGL tab of the display properties, I set something to buffer-transfer mode.

criminal is right! It is very important to set the nVidia OpenGL display properties to block-transfer, otherwise flickering will happen with some games.
