Is there any way to change Firefox's cache folder default location. I don't like to have it under my windows profile folder.

Anyone knows how to do it, because I don't find any option in the browser to do that.

True, many of us here are FF users, but I don't think it's possible to change the folder. If it is, I think the people at the moz site are the only ones who would know how.

In Firefox type 'about:config' in the address bar. There should be an option there somewhere.

thanks kane, quite similar to a win reg editor environment. After creating a user.js file and adding the following lines:

// Path to Cache folder:
user_pref("browser.cache.disk.parent_directory","X:\\Path To Cache");

where X is the drive letter of your choice.

typing 'about:cache' and 'about:config' as you said, showed the new folder location.

Cypherswipe after a mozilla site search, I finally managed to change the cache folder :)
