To be honest I haven't watched any of the videos, but I think it might be the menu system of the recording software, as I doubt the PC version will be shown at this point. Which site are you talking about? Mine or PXCL-Fans? I think all demos recorded right now are from the PS3 demo.

Yes, that is the video capturing software on the PC that he his recording on. I can tell you that its a screenshot menu and he is selecting to save that screenshot. hozon = 保存 means save.

Did you notice that it's the PC version of the game? (to all who critiqued me saying it's coming out on pc)

There's very obvious points where the guy opens the file menu of the game and who can emulate the 360/ps3 on any current pc? lol

must be playing on the pc engine

I guess we have our answer here, from our resident native born real full blooded japanese member. :D

Thanks D.D.

I was originally thinking its some developers debug version only used by devs while designing/debudging/playtesting the game.

Nah, that wasn't a video capture program. He was streaming it on the internet live a couple of times. Then some good soul "captured" the live stream on Youtube and posted it.

But I know... that sparked another wave of "Yay! FFXIII fo PeeSee!"

Gee... seriously, though, I think either Sony reduce the price of their console more, or S-E sacrifice themselves and do a PC port to get this over with. The prior seems like a choice that would severely impact the gaming industry.

So, we know the demo is around 5GB. More then the standard DVD most 360 games use.

PS3 FFXIII version?

Yes please!

P.S.
Yes, those pics are a joke by 2CH(most otaku filled forum in the world...). But if you crunch the numbers...

Yes that second picture is quite a joke, more realistic would be around double that number, think the old floppy version of Word perfect or windows 95 where you had like 25 floppy discs. :p

Swap a disc every 10 minutes :p

I wonder if people have gone soft, I remember Shenmue and Shenmue 2 taking up ~6 CDs each on the Dreamcast, and nobody was complaining.

Well, that's is a different story.

Shenmue is a long game with beautiful graphics at the time. The GD-ROM only had a capacity of 1.3GB at most. No other console at the time had anything close to it. The PS2 was released a year and a bit after, so DVDs weren't in use yet for game discs. If Shenmue did come out for the PS2, it would've only taken 2 discs most likely.

I think it's an extremely reasonable price for what you get. Dunno why people are balking at $400
Hard to justify buying something for $400 just to play games... which you have to pay another $60 each for.
That might just be me though. The whole gaming thing is losing its importance in my life.

From my understanding, thats still a video capture program. :)

Me too. That said it was never important to me...I've always been more of a tech junkie.
