Well I hope Square can pick up their slack with FFXII. I am really looking forward to it and hope it dosnt dissapoint me.

I wish Square would make another FFIX style game. I loved the characters designs and how everything looked in general, it was the most fun I had playing a FF game since VII.

i'd prefer if it'd avoid the super-deformed look in every FF from this point forward. in fact, i'd be content if all developers stopped that look. the realistic look makes it a lot more... for the lack of a better word - believable. maybe its just my hatred of anime that makes me feel this way.

Yeah, I don't really like the deformed look...by deformed I don't me anime look (big eyes, werid hair, ect) all I really want is full height people.

I like Tetsuya's designs. The whole look of FF got better when FFVIII came.

real Emotion in the US and PAL version was crappy, but the original song as in the japanese release was much better.

i hardly hear any difference between JP and english real emotion...

btw was FFC for GC anygood ? i havent heard much about it.. My friend bought it but he said it sucks.. than again that was his first FF...
Didnt really like how the game looked tho..

imo FFIX was the worst of all FF i played (VII to X-2) And i cant believe anyone liked the chocobo mini game in there...

See I'm the opposite, I would rather have the half/chibi style then have the real life style. I like things that are different and more artistic in a sense. Like The Tales line of games.

Some real life is good like Sega's new Shining Force Neo looks amazing. I love that style :thumb:

I completely agree... The last FF-game I remember as artistically fresh and creative was FFIX.

SF Neo looks more animeish than FF has been looking lately though. BTW, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one looking forward to that game .

Seems like everyones excited, the E3 Expo this year might've liven you all up then, the awesome FMVs chilled me. Ashe looks great but she needs a loner skirt.. Hehe..

But Vaan doesn't look like a guy does he.. .more of the feminine type with manly ambitions... but we'll see how the game is when it comes out next year according to Square - for UK n Europe

Well since FFXII didnt make a big appearance this year at E3, lets hold out till new stuff comes, and before you get flamed for reviving such an old thread. Next time, please review the date of the last post in the thread you are posting in.
