what plugings are you using? mine runs fine but slows down right before a battle, is it okay to use save states? i think i heard they cause problems with the movies.
random crashes occur when the game is played in full screen mode
:any way to fix that?

***Pete's D3D :)

***That is normal, it is a little slower with Pete'sOpenGL :(

is it okay to use save states?
***I don't recommend it

i think i heard they cause problems with the movies
***It is true, but only if you use save states :)

I'm just curious as to how you get the menu's to show. Whenever I run the game, and this goes for MGS (it won't show the CODEC Numbers), and Final Fantasy VII. When in a battle, the menu's don't show. I think it's because I'm using Lewpy's 3dfx/glide plugin, since I have a 12MB Voodoo 2. Any response to this would be greatly appreciated, well, except the ones that say to get a better vid card... have to save up cash. :D

Take a look at this shot of MGS codec screen..
This is done with lewpys glide pluggin..

Make sure you have "experimental screen sizing on" and use "bilinear filtering without sprites"

The menus in FF8 can be fixed by enabling "experimental flipping".. All of this info is in the readme that comes with lewpys glide pluggin of course..

Alright... thanks for the tips... can't wait to give this game it's true visual demands... too bad about the sound though... but I can't complain too much. Thanks for the tips.

*grumbles to self, "Should have paid more attention to the readme"*

heh... Thanks..
