final fantasy tactics

has anyone got final fantasy tactics running right? i cant get the map to not be black and i also can't get the sound configured right. i've used several sound plug-ins but the sound won't sound right... any suggestions?

I get perfect sound from both Pete's Midas/Dsound and Internal SPU plug-in :eek:)
The map bug is an issue that almost everyone here experiences... including me :(

is there any certain config i need to get the sound right? it skips alot for me. and how do i get the cg in the game working?
