I know most of the ppl like Final Fantasy VII's story. But I almost finiahsed Final Fantasy X now. Im 90% complete. The game is actually short, even if its a Dvd-rom. But the story line is really nice. I was wondering what ppls favorite Final Fantasy story was.

40 Hours of gameplay and you call it short?? Well I think that FFX is the best because it simply is the best. Graphics, storyline its up and over any FF series. Its has almost everything your would want. It has romance and other elements.

For me, FFX beats FFVII by a hair. The game was freakin' long, and the plot twists are awesome, though you see some miles away, like how Auron survived his first pilgrimage...
*spoiler*[he didn't]*spoiler*

Other twists are more surprising.

You won't find out until the end, but if you want to know now, here it is:

*spoiler*---------------------------------------------------------*spoiler*
here's how it happened: When you summon the final aeon, the summoner must choose one of his/her guardian to become the fayth, of which will turn into the final aeon (in other words, at the final chamber of fayth, one of the guardians will be changed into the fayth that summons the aeon.). In that sense, Jecht IS the final aeon. You'll also learn near the end that Sin is actually a living armour, and that inside Sin is someone called Yu Yevon. Yu Yevon's the REAL boss, and when Sin is destroyed by a final aeon, Yu Yevon transforms the final aeon, changing it into Sin so that it can once again hide inside. The actual reason for Yu Yevon doing this is so he can continue his summoning (he's being the one that's been summoning up all the fayths around the world). Anyways, apparantly, when Braska's final aeon (Jecht) destroyed Sin, the aeon (Jecht) killed Braska (as it has always been the tradition that the aeon kills the summoner) and Sin. Then, as a result, Yu Yevon transformed Jecht into a new Sin so that he can ride Sin once again.
*end spoiler*---------------------------------------------------*end spoiler*

It's kind of a rant, but you get the gist. If not, let me know with more specific questions.
