hey.

here's the thing, I've played final fantasy 9 some months ago til disc 3.
now, due to christmas vacations, I wanted to play again.

I have the original final fantasy - Pal version. I used alcohol to create an img.
Afterwards, I patched it with hlg's pal ukversion patch.

I ran the game, loaded state.. and no sound.

stuff I'm using:
- epsxe 1.5.2
- graphic plugin: Pete's OpenGL2 driver 2.3 w\ fast settings + FPS limit
- sound plugin: Pete's DSound Audio Driver 1.15 and all stuff unchecked.

what I've done to try to fix the problem:
- I have no saved games so I tried to create a 'new game' but still no sound.
- Tried different plugins such as:
- epsxe incorporated plugin
- Null's2 Audio Driver 1.3
- Eternal plugin 1.41 + special check for ff9

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Although newbie as I am in this stuff If I had to guess, I'd say it's some lacking or in excess tick on plugin's options.
Well then, I hope it was detailed enough. If you need any more info, just ask.

thanks in advance.

p.s. oh, I almost forgot. I'm using a p4'2.8, 512 ddr400, audigy2ZS (I think) and a 5600XT256.

working now.
here's the solution for those with the same problem:

* use eternal plugin 1.41 w\ default config + square games special game fix
* check three top options @ sound menu so it looks like this:
