If you're having a problem with a "lazy" CD-ROM, why not try making an iso of the disk and playing from that? Some other suggestions with your configuration are to set the fps limit at 60 (not 75), and switch to a different filtering (I personally use 4: extended without sprites).

uhhhhhhh

does that mean if i limit the cdrom speed the problem will stop??

what does filtering do?
i noticed mode 1 n mode 4 are kinda like the same.
mode 2 n 3 really screw the graphics.
nahs. i like 75. i'm impatient.hehe. :emb:

oh yeah. how do i make an ISO?
