well i got everything to work smooth and fast and good but except when i go into battle it slows down alot like frame by frame like it happens when my team shows up and its really annoying i even set it to the lowest setting on the video thing please help and thanks alot for the help

About your problem, you should provide more information to us, before we can help. We need to know your

- System specifications (Type them at least to your next post, or put them into your profile or your sig.)
- Emulator you are currently using.

I used to have similar problems when my hardware was low-end for FF9.

Also post the plugins you're using (gpu/spu/cd), and the settings of those plugins.
