If you are using a CDRom, CDRW or DVDRom, then it might not fully support epsxe's method of subchannel reading. DVDRW's should be fine.

however, you can use the disks by downloading The files from here
http://files.ngemu.com/psx/ppf/FF9-GER-PAL.zip

and then renaming them as

Disk 1 = SLES_029.67
Disk 2 = SLES_029.68
Disk 3 = SLES_029.69
Disk 4 = SLES_029.70

and placing them in the Patches folder.
NOTE: The numbers on the end ARE the file extension and replace the .ppf file extension.

Now when you click file>run in the emulator, the disks should start.

Hi,

I've got almost the exact same problem as the original poster, and i've downloaded the relevant .ppf files. Do i need to rename them as something else as they are UK PAL? other than that i don't know whats up. I've the same settings as the original poster.

Cheers

A (usually hidden) file exists on the disk, which name is only a bunch of numbers, match the ppf to each of these files.
