How come everytime I enter the character screen where you can see what items you have and change the config, the music slows down? It also slows down when Im buying something from someone. When Im running around though and entering houses the music is fine. Its only when i enter the text screens where I do transactions does the music go slower. Im using eternal spu 1.10 and petes opengl 1.55. I also run the fps at 65 seeing as the music is out of sync with the game. Ive tried changing the fps back and forth but nothing helps. Any ideas?

Try using a lower Sound Cache.

A FPS limit of 70 seems to currently work best with FF7. Try that.

Text screens in the FF games are slower than other scenes in the game.. A resolution of 640x480 may help lessen the affect.. A higher resolution will slow it more.. There is a timing problem with FF7 in epsxe.. That's why the music is rather slow ingame even when running full speed(60fps)..
