I have a bunch of OST mp3s and original game music in mp3 format from all the Final Fantasy games.. I downloaded them using gnuttella... I remember I also got some using Napster before they went anal..

ive downloaded FF8 OST, FF7 OST, FF6 OST, FF9 OST, Chrono Trigger OST, The brink of time and MGS OST from FTPs.... the Chrono Cross one was from an http (thkx Raz ) but MP3 via HTTP iz lame...
go to EFnet and look for some game music #, then stand around untill someone gives theyr FTP infos

yOU PLAY THE GAme normally. then when the music you want starts, just alt+tab the Emu, and press the record button, and cameback in the game, and record the lenght you want.

i dont know the proggie but its more probable that it records in wav than u have to convert it

oh sorry man i missed a few points.

first, this prog. can record real-time sounds from any aplication, and in the WAVE format. you will have to compress to MP3 with some other prog, i suggest you this one.

1.Aeris Theme
2.One Wing Angel
3.Main Theme
but not original version
It is "Final Fantasy VII Reunion"
