one more thing

IF ANYONE knows how to make the swirly thing before you get in a fight on ff9 work tell me i had it working with petes soft driver but since i switched the swirls dont work anymore thanks and how do you take screenshots
f8 to take a shot. Take it easy with the language there a kids on these boards ya' know?:D ;) like myself:D
Press F8 while playing to take screenshots.. FF9 runs perfect on my computer too.. Its pretty nice isn't it.. I use lewpys glide pluggin and it works fantastic.. The swirl before battles are correctly show with lewpys glide pluggin with the proper config.. It runs full speed too.. I think it slows down the game if you don't have a powerful enough computer.. It seems petes d3d and ogl pluggin doesn't show the swirls correctly in the new versions of his pluggins.. Maybe they will be fixed in a future version.. Most people I heard only got part of the swirl with petes d3d and ogl pluggin.. Lewpys pluggin has no problems with the swirls but its only for voodoo cards..
re

ya i get black scrren no swirls just a black screen for 3 seconds before a fight its the only thingother than hat i think i wii stick with this driver ill let the swirls go to play gt2 with no probs anyone else post some shots of your ff9
Here is a shot of my FF9.. Well, FF9 running on my system.. Full speed, no slowdown..
Im using Pete's OGL driver and I get all the swirls just fine. In fact, the only problems that I have are with the sound slowing down in certain places. I tried 'iso'ing the CD and that fixed the sound problems.

wow the shot of ifrit is reaaaaaaaaallly good what type of system you running mine aint that good i cant figure out how to post a pic anyway heres mine p3 866mhz integrared 32 meg AGP graphics (intel)256 meg RAM SB hercules game theater XP windows milleniumOS
if you want to see the swirly thing in pete's d3d or ogl, set the framebuffer texture to emulated vram or gfx card buffer.

to post pictures, you send the picture file as an attachment [on the lower part of the screen when you post]. the screenshots are in the snap subfolder in the epsxe directory. the attachment size limit is only 200K though, so you might have to change the format from .bmp to .jpg. you can use ms paint for that.
As with most of my GPU errors I switched to a soft gpu and I get higher compatability, as well as the "swirl" (it really isnt a swirl kinda like the screen gets sucked in) to work.

Check my profile for my system specs.. :) I am thinking about upgrading soon.. to an athlon xp 1.53 gig.. Press F8 while ingame to take snapshots.. Then use any paint program to change the .bmp into a .jpg Make sure they aren't over 200 kb in size or they won't show.. PErsonally, I use Photoshop 6.0 It gives me the best quality jpegs.. Cost too much though..
