My specs:

Intel Pentium Dual CPU T2370 @ 1.73GHz 1.73GHz
RAM: 2.00GB
Vista Home Premium laptop.

I use PCSX2 0.9.4, I can run the game perfectly but slow. Is there a way of speeding it up a bit by configuring settings? If so, what/how will I configure?

also as mentioned above use speed hacks.

your system is kinda slow so dont expect huge success.
i would upgrade your hardware to see better fps.

The speed hacks should still provide a big speedup either way.

Well I tried 0.9.6 and it slightly improved, now the cut scenes are 100-140%. But problem is when it's not a cut scene(walking and doing stuff) it's only at about 60-70%. Good improvement but not good enough to play the game(except for the awesome cut scenes lol).

Get the newest beta from pcsx2.net and try those speedhacks, but your laptop is really not good enough for emulating ps2. I recommend something like 3 ghz core duo for getting good speeds.

hey dadat, i have a 2.2 ghz core 2 duo, 3bg ram, 9300 128mb ddr3 gfx, and im getting about 40-50% ish on the game play bits and choppy cutscenes. can u tell me ur config cos urs is heaps good even though ur processors a bit weaker than mine. i must really suck oO

maybe your graphic card is the bottleneck?

Speedhacks can improve speed (CPU side), but it's not magic that it can give you fullspeed all the time.

Grab a recent beta on emucr or somesuch;
Read a config guide;
Try those snazzy speedhacks.

Latest svn rev's got a bunch of speed hacks and all of them works fine on ffx.
