FFVIII Squall Doesn't Respond!! [HELP]]

Hey all, excuse me in advance for freaking out...

I have a problem with FH (Fisherman's Horizon) while using pSX v1.13, which worked perfectly so far.
After I talk to Mayor of FH, I try going back to garden and then Zell/Rinoa comments on him, Squall SHOULD comment back something like "You can't expect everyone to like us" but he doesn't do anything, instead Zell just gets caught in limbo and doesn't move from where he is... what's bizarre is that you CAN walk to the screen on the right but when you attempt to go back to the garden everything happens all over again...

HELP!

I'd really appreciate a solution to this since I've been playing for over 20 hours

Don't use savestates too much, also mounting the image then reading the virtual drive with sapu cdr, rather then reading it directly i usually less problematic.

Grab the CDR Sapu plugin from our download center.

Emuforums.com - Downloads

Download and install Daemon Tools lite, using this you can mount a disk image to a virtual DVD/CD Rom drive.

Then select the virtual drive in Sapu CDR's settings.

last time i checked pSX didn't use plugins, in which case you could try to use epsxe.
just use your memcard from pSX with epsxe.

also if you are loading from a savestate, try to load from your memorycard instead

How do I use my memcard from PSX? I only used quick saves (nor even save states)... how do I transfer to a memcard? Is it possible?

Oh it's worth noting that I could never get the game to work on ePSXe

i see freeze issues and i think epsxe lol.

PSX freezes on the ragnarok anyway, so may as well switch emulators now....
