Having problems with my psx, or possibly the ROM
Haven't had problems before, recently the game won't load. When I use my save state it's okay until I hit a random encounter, at which time it freezes.
Any thoughts on solutions? Any help would be appreciated.

yeah thanks, wouldn't have to if my game would load properly. Again with the loading problem. It'll get to the "sony computer entertainment america" screen, fade out, then just die.
if you are playing off an image then try re-ripping it. if that doesnt work then test the game on another emulator and see if the problem still occurs.
