I'm trying to run Final Fantasy VII from ISOs with ePSXe 1.7.0 with the -nosound command line switch, however before the game starts to go into the battle swirl for a random battle the game locks up.

This isn't a problem with the sound on, however I'd prefer the option to have it off.

Any ideas? Or maybe a sound plugin that lets you adjust the volume very low?

The null spu 0.4 worked perfectly, thanks very much. I'm running XP, and I've not had this problem with other games I've tried (specifically FFIX and FFXIII), just VII. Thanks again.
