FFIX speed (too fast!)

My system is:
700MHz Athlon
192 MB RAM
VooDoo5 5500 AGP 64 MB VRAM
PC-DVD 12x (CDROM)
SB Live! X-Gamer
Win 98SE

I'm running FFIX on ePSXe. I tried Lewpy's Glide driver, 's OK, no words on battle menu. I tried Pete's d3d driver 1.50, everything's fine, looks better even, but it's tooooo fast! I tried turning everything "on", but no go. Battles too fast..........

set fps limit to 60 for ntsc games and 50 for pal...... that will make your games run normal speed.... and for FF9 battle menu text...... turn on experimental flipping..... in lewpy's pluggin..
FFIX Speed

Muchas gracias. Arigato. Thnx!
lewpy's plugin?????

Were can i get that one?
www.psxemu.com in the pluggins section...... You do have a voodoo card do you not...... since lewpy's glide pluggin is for voodoo cards with glide support...... No voodoo, then it won't work ......
Hey Metal, you have reach 44 post but you don't know where to get Lewpy's? Sound strange...yes, you can get it at the plugin section on psxemu.com and keep visiting the site for update!!!
I never heard of that plugin, and I also thinks it's strange :p

But never mind.... no Voodoo :p :p
The recommendation for Lewpy's driver worked fine, but it's still too fast on Pete's (this includes movies). I wanna use Pete's 'cause Lewpy's does this weird slowdown when going to new areas and leaving battles, there's something up with the refresh rate (a horizontal line of misalignment) and it really bogs down when magic is performed.

Switch FBA to WRITE and OSD to BASIC to keep a more constant speed, but you will loose some of the spell effects (those that rely on recursive texturing).
