Been playing through FF9 with Pete's OpenGL 1.51/1.52 with hardly any problem, except textures and skins on 3d objects seem to flicker. Its just noticable enough to be pretty annoying. A couple examples of this are on the world map, when Zidane's tail is moving around, it flickers on and off. Also during battle scenes and even normal game screen, when characters are using their idle animation (ie Vivi shifting back and forth), the flicker is more noticable. Another annoying one is that faces move around, so Zidane and Garnet's faces are always shifting up and down on their models.

My best guess is that its a PSX limitation or just something with FF9, and not something with Epsxe? The only other game I've played is Spiderman, so I don't have a good game to compare it to.

I'm pretty sure im using Enhanced offscreen drawing (2nd to last option), #4 for filtering, and the FF9 game fix.

If anyone has any input, I'd appreciate it.

I'm afraid that's how the game looks on ePSXe. The flickering is less noticeable on the TV 'cause of scanlines and more pixelated 3D models. But in the crystal clarity of the PC, especially at high resolutions or with anti-aliasing, the flickering becomes quite noticeable. Same thing happens to some extent in the MegaMan Legends games (RockMan Dash), and probably other 3D games.
