well sapu cannot read subchannels or allow me to use a patch. xeven doesnt really do anything different.
however i have sort of fixed the problem. i just changed the reading from async to smooth and it runs now(a bit slow when exploring but battles are perfect!) but now i get the following error when i shut down epsxe:

Also if i run the game off an iso with sapu cdrom plugin. would the enabling of the 'track iso' option do anything for me?
