if these questions are answered anywhere, I couldn't find them, but don't shoot me if they are. Here it goes:
1. When I either try to save in FF9 itself(with the moogle save command), it say it is formatting my memory card, and then it says that the game is saved. But when I exit epsxe and later try to come back to my save game, there are none. How can I fix this?
2. When I try to save using the Run-save state feature, I can't load my save game. Am I doing something wrong?
3. The music skips a lot, especially before and during battles. How can I fix this?
I think that's all for now. Please help.
Oh I am using 1.4.0

1. You used the Save-states, right? Search for some files in your Mem-Card-Folder named blabla.000 or blabla.001 and set them as your default Mem-Cards. Now youre Save-States should be there. If you're using ePSXe 1.4.0, I don't know what happened. Cos I recogniezed this bug just ePSXe 1.2.0.

Try creating an already formatted card in epsxecutor for ff9. That might help. What sound plug-in are you using? As for the saved states ... no idea there sorry, they should work just fine right off the bat. You might need to clear out your epsxe registry and restart.
