I have 2 questions re: Final Fantasy IX
First, the game slows down like a bitch whenever it reads from the CD-ROM (Right before and after a battle, between scens, etc.) The game would be almost perfectly smooth if it weren't for this. Even the battle swirl!
Second, there's an option which helps when the game slows down as magic is being performed. What is it? (if turning it off also takes away the battle swirl, f'get about it
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Havin' trouble emulating FF7? FF8 givin' you the blues? Buy the bloody PC version!!!!!! Looks way better than any emulated version could, especially if your 3D card has anti-aliasing. Plus, it's only $13-20, depending (Costco wholesale rocks!
). And if that's not enough, for FF7, you get free wallpapers and easily copiable movies in AVI format; and for FF8, you get really, really high quality movies and the chocobo (kawaii!) world minigame (using it, I maxed out several stats for all charcters, and got their best weapons by disc 2!). Don't delay!
