Im having trouble running ff9 like alot of ppl. my problem is that when i start the game, i see the square soft logo, then the screen goes black. my comp specs are:
Amd T-Bird 1.2 ghz
Ati Radeon 64mb ddr memory
Sb live value
384 mg ram

which version of FF9 are you running? Most Pal versions of the game require a patch to work.. US version don't need the patch..

Do you have MDECs enabled in executor? The first thing after the Square logo is an MDEC. If so, try pressing F4. Also, which plugins are you using?

To enable mdecs you'll have to either edit the registry or use epsxecutor. I recommend the latter.

They normally should be enabled though...
Don't forget to apply Pete's Special Game fixes... you need at least two to run FF IX (i forgot which...)

try running the pete's software, it's works for anything, crappy though, pete d3d should work,

I had the same problem when I used the cd, so i made an image, it has to be 100% there, the image, of course, and then i couldn't use pete ogl,

use software if your really desperate
