i got problems runnning ff9 pal on my kyro i hope someone could help me
i have a evil kyro from powercolor on a 700 p3 98 se with the newest drivers from power vr anddirect x 8.0a.
my first problem is i cannot use petes d3d and ogl plugins
only the d3d6 and the soft plugin works soft is perfect but no good graphics the d3d6 plugin is better but everytime a battle starts the swirl is not shown proberly and the it takes ages bevore the battle starts is ther a solution for it ?(i tried the special game fix for ff9 and masc bit but nothing happend and with vram the game freezes)
and another problem is that i can not change the iso it says i should insert disc 2 and i go out to gui and change it and the screen just goes black but the music plays
is there any way to change discs btw. isos in ff9

I have the same problems , Open GL and Soft are to slow and the D3D ones give the maxium but frezze after some time (2 or 3 Minutes ) and i use the plugins of od Hercules the new ones and Direct X 8a , there is no solutin let's hope that i can be Fixed soon ! Ahh Don't forget that the Pal version Need's a PPF patch !

And i have a question are there Detonatores for Kyro or do they also work for it ?!?!!?

Since the Kyro cards are a different brand from NVIDIA cards, it would be an incredibly bad idea to install the Detonator drivers (designed for NVIDIA cards). There is a strange possibility they might work, but more likely than not they would screw up quite a few things in your computer (if it runs at all).

It is not recommended to have the detonators installed at all with a Kyro. I speak from first hand experience. I upgraded from a TNT to a Kyro. I am going to sell this card. Anyone want to buy it? $50 and it's yours. Never overclocked, all original software, box, etc... Please?

I Think you won't sell it , you'll have to wait for new driveres and plugins , and don't forgetthe card is just bad with ePSXe , but with all the other things like N64 , Snes , PC games it has a Damm good Compability !!

yeah i think so too ,
the kyro is just not so good for epsxe but for any other emu or game i tried ( i can play max payne in 1024 x 768 on my kyro 1 and it runs great !) just wait for new drivers !

Let's wait until Direct X 9.0 and some new driveres and , let's hope that one of the Plugin authors manage to solve this , if they can and have time to do it ! Petes D3D seems to be good (110%) but frezzes after some time (FF9, LoD, KoF98 , CB warped , etc ) Petes Open GL (all games) slow ! Lewpy's Plugin doesn't work , the otheres even worse !
