Well im at the 3rd disc and ive read through the other posts and none of the same problem, ive tried every different setting on every different video plugin i can find and nothing it freezes when kuja is about to summon bahumat upon alexandria, it just freezes into a black screen and pisses me off :cuss2: :hdbash:

Could just be a bad rip of your CD (or a dirty CD if you're running it from one). Try cleaning your CD and ripping it again.

my disc was new from the box when i ripped it how could it be dirty? but thanks anyway

are you using ePSXe 1.5.2? if not, please do. and dont use save states, see if that works.

if both those fails...what are your computer's specs? what plugins are you using?

sorry i cant find the edit button but i found the problem.. it was 1.5.2 and 1.6.0 and every other one and plugin but psxeven :thumb:

I also unexpectedly ran into this problem after having successfully played ffix on ePSXe before. It seems that the problem arises from the way ePSXe does save states. The movie will not load if you loaded the game from a save state (possibly during the card tournament if you lost against Cid and tried again). Make sure last loaded the game from a memory card save before reaching this point.
