I know, i know, is impossible to play ff9 ita version but is there a genius that may create a patch or something similar to solve this problem?

If you got the .ppf patch, you can use Pete's CD plugin and it has the ability to patch the CD on-the-fly, meaning you wont have to burn a new CD.

It won't work. The german patch is for the german version. The italian version has a much stronger version of libcrypt than the german one, as did the UK one.

Correct me if I'm wrong but AFAIK the Italian version has got 17 checkpoints per each disk whereas the German has only 1 for each disk at the start. Plus the 17 checkpoints are different from thouse that are in the uk one. Finally they are also encrypted. In order to crack this baby would take a seriously long amount of time as once you have found one point and cracked it you would have to continue playing the game until you found another. Hence not only would have to be some super hacker but you would also have to find every secret etc... to debug it. That's why the UK version took about 6 months + to crack.

Forget it and wait until someone figures out a way for emus to run the originals as I doupt this will be patched soon.

ff9 pal uk

I have final fantasy 9 pal for the uk and I can play final fantasy 9 on epsxe I found a Uk ppf patch on the aldos website. I hope this is some help if it isn't I am sorry to wast your time
