FF9. No Battle Menu

Okies. So I got my FF9 CD's got nice little playable images yadda yadda (thanks to those who helped. Esp Mr M).

However, now I am playing it and it's lots of fun but I cannot see the menu in battle mode. I have no idea whats wrong. I tried checking that special fix in the game options thing for video and it didnt help.

For now I can play cause I dont need items or magic during gameplay right now, but soon I will and I cant see the battle menu to select things >.<.

Is this a common problem? Is there a solution? Help! Pwease?

Video Plugin: Petes 1.7.6? I believe
using version 1.5.2 of EPSXE and 1.6, neither show the battle menu.

EDIT: Problem fixed. I found the answer in a different thread. I turned to offscreen drawing up to 3. Sorry guys.
