Hello

I am using the FF9 UK Pal cracked version. When the game start and there is the opening menu, I suppose to press start to go to the menu, but no key response. I tries to configure the keys.

In one attemp it did work, and I saved the state, and now it can work always, but I want to know what is the problem.

You can try to press F5 and F4 and see if it works.

If you mean the trainer that opens when you run the game you need to press X for to start in PAL or O to start as NTSC. I only mention this 'cos it took me a couple of minutes to figure this ouit.:emb:
