Hello, I am having problems in Final Fantasy 9 with freezing. (isnt everyone? :D )

Near the beginning of the game it wasnt so unbearable, I would have to restart my computer every hour or so, not bad. But now it is every 6 minutes. Is there any way to cure freezing in ff9, or tone it down a bit? here is my configuration.

Plugin: Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.1.55
Author: Pete Bernert
Card vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.
GFX card: Radeon SE DDR x86/MMX/3DNow!

- 640x480 Window mode
- Keep psx aspect ratio: off

- R5G5B5A1
- Filtering: 0
- Caching: 2

- FPS limitation: on
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: 80

- Offscreen drawing: 3
- Framebuffer texture: 2
- Alpha multipass: off
- Mask bit: on
- Advanced blending: off

- Scanlines: off
- Line mode: off
- Unfiltered FB: on
- Dithering: off
- Full vram: off
- Game fixes: off [00000200]

I am running it on an Athlon 1200, with 256mb of ram and a radeon ddr 64mb.

Nope not everyone.. I haven't experienced any sort of freezing, crashing, or any minor problems at all with FF9.. Already at the end of disk 3.. :) The game runs near perfect for me..

Rebeliousmonkey: Just to let you know, it appears you have the special fixes incorrectly set. Although you have the FF9 fix itself turned on, you need to also check the box special game fixes for it to work.
