ff9 fadeout

I keep experiencing a problem in Lindlum on Disc 2 in which the screen fades out to an ATE and then remains black while the music keeps playing. I'm using 1.52 with a legit disk. I've been browsing this forum and found a couple similar problems. One suggestion I've seen was to use PSXeven to get around the problem, but I haven't been able to get my save states to work in it. Any other suggestions?

load your memory card in PSXeven. perhaps the save state is the problem in teh first place. load your memory card up in ePSXe and play from there.

ok I loaded from the memcard instead and I still get stuck with a blank screen with the music playing when it fades out to the ATE.

Your next bet would be to obtain another disc.
Your disc seems to have a problem reading that part, so try making an ISO or image to solve this problem.
