Basically, if I go into battle, the following happens:

There's absolutely NO blue battle screen at the bottom, where you can choose whether to attack , cast magic etc.

Does anyone know a solution to this??

--Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.77
--On a Mac (Latest version of Leopard)

Side-note: the SAME THING is happenning when I play FF7

I'm on a Macbook Pro...
-Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.77 (this is THE ONLY driver that works on my mac)
-Frame skipping is OFF
-Increased off-screen drawing to 2 (it was at 1), didn't work. 3, didn't work. 4, didn't work.


I've tried all of this. can someone please help me? I really want to play this, but I can't without seeing the battle box...
