Hi everyone! I just can't play ff9 on epsxe 1.5.2, so I need some little help. As the forum recommand, I search for the same subject on the site, but, I tried some tips on the game, it still doesn't help (even the kane's domain).
Here are my specs:
Windows 98 SE
epsxe 1.5.2
scph1001.bin (for NTSC of course)
Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.75 (I have a nvidia riva TNT2 graphi card) (see OpenGL file for settings)
Eternal SPU plugin 1.41
epsxe CDR ASPI core 1.5.2 (see cdr file for settings)
I play the game with an ISO image file, on DAEMEON tools driver. I see the message "Published by Sqare..." (see published file for what it looks like)
but after this, nothing. There is a reading CD error on 0, 1, 74 (see error file).
If I try to play the game by opening a the ISO file by itself, the screen remains black for a long time (after 5 minutes a was tired to wait so I just close it)
I don't think it's about settings on Video plugin ; maybe the CDR plugin is not a good one and I should change it for a better one. What do you think about?
Thank you for all
