hey I got a prob...... I forgot my config for ff8, and I have been trying with lots of configs but no result, the ATB doesn't show properly and it is rather slow, besides the game is way dark and it was rather slow...

you all know my specs....

Plugin: Pete's D3D Driver 1.1.53

*ahem* well.... it's just that.... *cough* .....

well well, you're right, I'll download it right now.... but still...... any ideas to improve it?

try using opengl...d3d is pretty pointless...even if you have a REALLY nice computer (2.0 ghz, geforce3, 700+ megs ram ;) etc)
open gl works really nice with minimal or no lag at all. If you run opengl, you can turn up the other graph effects, like filtering with smooth sprites (drool!) :D
