How can I change text's background color?, I dont like gray backg' , so I'd like to change to a bluish one.

I don't think you can change the background color without hacking the game. FF7 let you customize it but for some reason, 8 doesn't have that feature.

pfaugh, man. if that's working exactly like ff8 does on console, you can change the background from that grey to 'classic' (blue) in the config in the in-game menu...but only to blue, there isnt the level of customization there is in ff7.....
at least, i think you can do that in ff8....mebbe i'm getting confuzzled with ff9...cant remember, been too long since i played.

It can be changed in FF9 to classic (blue) but in FF8 you must endure gray frames :>

the only feasible way to change the color would be to use a memory hack (i.e. Gameshark code), which would require you to find or know where the color value is stored in memory. Since the effect is actually gradient, it may be stored as anywhere from 1 to 4 separate values, and since you cannot change the color within the game, finding these values would prove exceptionally difficult. I looked around the internet for a bit and found no signs any color codes for FF8.
