FF8 PC with det 21.81........

K i just updated to the det 21.81 and i gotta problem with the pc version of Final Fantasy 8 every time i go to play it all the color's are all messed up. i've got the texel alignment at the top left like its supposed to be but it's still messed up. it worked fine with the older version of the det drivers.

I was just wondering if someone with ff8 pc version could try running it with the det 21.81 drivers and post there results tell me if the colours are messed on your system also or if there fine..

FF8 requires palettized textures. When you run the setup program check to see if you video card supports them.

Mmmm... as far as I know the ff8 pc version is using some gfx library which takes care
that the game is working even on cards without pal texture support.

Well, if you are using a GeForce card, you have to use the GF FF8 patch to get rid off
misaligned textures... worked for me, but of course I haven't installed the game anymore,
so I can't say if the new det's are messing something else up.

the gforce2 supports palatized textures
And those missalined textures arn't the problemt, its the color's are all messed up

well i've done some testing and it seems this is a problem that only happens with the new 21.81 detanator drivers., which kinda sucks cause i like the det 21.81's 1.3 OGL
