Hey, I have been using ePSXe for awhile now, and decided to play ff8. Everything runs smooth except the battle scenes, they are very slow, and the text is very jittery.

I am using Windows 2k, with 512 megs of ram on a 1.3g athlon. It's strange, I run MGS perfectly, but these darn battle scenes just won't go!
any ideas?
