Hey, I have been using ePSXe for awhile now, and decided to play ff8. Everything runs smooth except the battle scenes, they are very slow, and the text is very jittery.

I am using Windows 2k, with 512 megs of ram on a 1.3g athlon. It's strange, I run MGS perfectly, but these darn battle scenes just won't go! :) any ideas?

put framebuffer textures to 1-black..
You'll lose some special effects but it should speed the battles up I think.....

try putting the framebuffer back to gfx card, that shouldn't slow it down to much on a geforce card, and you shouldn't lose any quality with the offscreen drawing thing I said.
