Having a major problem with the game FF9 everything from cutscenes to just plain movement is either accelerated by 2x or 3x the norm. FF8 is normal the opening movie credits is working fine but the minute you start a new game the main opening movie is super speed and flys by in about 45seconds. If anyone knows how to fix it that would be amazing <3

How about you point me in the right direction because my issue isnt popping up on any of the stickies and i havent found any threads similiar to mine other then people having slow down problems mine is accelerated so if you could shed some light that would be helpful.

Frame limiter isnt having any effect on the game im activating it with f4 like everyone says. It says its active so I do show FPS and it comes up with a fluctation between 1200-2400fps so the limiter isnt doing anything and the game is still running on hyperspeed.

Not seeing a option for plugin limiter. Im running ePSXe 1.7.0
with Pete's OGL2 Driver 2.9

look in the video plugin config menu under the "framerate" section that is about halfway down, you should then see a box that can be ticked to enable/disable the plugin limiter.

no its there, look right above the compatibility section in that screen shot and you will see the framerate section im talking about. however it looks like the plugin limiter has already been enabled.

can you post your system specs, specifically your cpu brand/model name and some basic info on your video card? btw what SPU plugin have you been using, the SPU core 1.7.0?

Running SLI'd NVIDIA 8800GTS's so my VGU isnt a issue and my CPU shouldnt be either. If anything I overpower the game to much xD

right but there are some CPU models that can cause performance issues despite being more than what is needed. so are you using an AMD dual core by any chance?

Nice hit i should of thought of that lol Never thought the CPU would be the major problem. Was to centered on the program to think otherwise. Thanks again
