i cant do the table where you have to hit the buttons at the right time. it doesnt let me acess the table. help?

Like how? You can't access the table to get the button pressing sequence to start?

It was the circle button on the original PS I believe. Been a little while since I played FF7. Does this button work everywhere else in the game? Like selecting battle commands?

yeah the button works. but i cant get my character to line up exactly. hes always turned wrong. ive tried to hold him there and ive tried to use all the keys. all the keys work their normal functions.

i dont know what to tell you, it sounds like an input problem but if you say things are functioning normally everywhere else then im not really sure.
